Front Carry (Oh Snap)

Buckle the bottom strap so that it sits on the top of your hips

  1. Buckle the bottom strap so that it sits on the top of your hips
  2. Fully extend webbing on top straps and make sure they are unbuckled from side of carrier.
  3. Remove Sternum Clips and put them in a safe place.
  4. Hold your baby so that he can wrap his legs around your waist.
  5. While supporting your baby, pull the body of the carrier up and over his back.
  6. Do a little hop to get your baby seated fully into the carrier.
  7. Use one hand to support your baby and the other to grab the strap coming from the opposite shoulder and clip it the opposite side, then repeat with the other side.
  8. Pull to tighten the webbing on the shoulder straps so that it is holding your baby snugly against your body.
TIP: If you are a petite user and the waist strap does not feel snug enough, make sure that you have the waist strap adjusters completely cinched.

Back Carry (Oh Snap)

  1. Buckle the bottom waist strap so that it sits on the top of your hips.
  2. Put your baby on your hip and scoot him around onto your back while leaning forward with your back flat like a table.
  3. Make sure his body is centered on your back.
  4. While holding on to your baby with one hand, pull the body of the carrier up between his legs and over his back.
  5. Put your arms through the shoulder straps and do a little hop while you pull on the straps to ensure that your baby/toddler is nestled into the carrier.
  6. Pull to adjust the webbing on the shoulder straps so that it is holding your baby snugly against your body.
  7. Clip the sternum strap together and pull on the webbing on each side to tighten it snugly and help distribute weight.


    Front Cross Carry (Manduca)
  1. No matter what carrying position you want to use, always close the hip/waist belt first with the buckle in front of you.
  2. Lengthen the short end of the webbing, so that the female part of the buckle is located underneath the elastic safety loop.
  3. Close the three-point-buckle carefully. Listen for the “clicking” noise. Adjust the hip/waist belt with the help of the long web-bing to your size and tuck away the loose ends.
  4. You can now move the waist belt around your body and bring the back panel in front of you or to your hip – according to the carrying position you want to use.
  5. With your baby in an upright position, ensure you support your baby at all times until the shoulder straps are in place.
  6. Whilst holding your baby with your left hand, put the right shoulder strap up and over your shoulder with your free hand.
  7. Change the hand holding the baby – now grab the shoulder strap from behind with your left hand ensuring the strap is not twisted.
  8. Find the buckle and bring it to the front.
  9. Feed the buckle through the safety loop and close it. The buckle should be located on the padded part BEHIND the safety loop.
  10. With your right hand supporting the baby, bring the other shoulder strap over your shoulder.
  11. Change the hand holding the baby – reach behind with your right hand and grab the crossed webbing., ensuring the strap is not twisted.
  12. Pull the buckle and bring it to the front.
  13. Close the buckle with two hands, feeding it underneath the elastic safety loop, while embracing your baby.
  14. Lastly pull the short end of the webbing to tighten.



    Back Carry (Manduca)
  1. No matter what carrying position you want to use, always close the hip/waist belt first with the buckle in front of you.
  2. Lengthen the short end of the webbing, so that the female part of the buckle is located underneath the elastic safety loop.
  3. Close the three-point-buckle carefully. Listen for the “clicking” noise. Adjust the hip/waist belt with the help of the long web-bing to your size and tuck away the loose ends.
  4. You can now move the waist belt around your body and bring the back panel in front of you or to your hip – according to the carrying position you want to use.
  5. Before you start ensure the shoulder straps are correctly secured in place. Hold your baby with their legs spread in front of your tummy.
  6. Bring up the panel between the legs of your baby and high over his/her back..
  7. Embrace your baby with one arm, with the other hand hold the waist belt behind your back.
  8. Move your baby with the carrier over your hip and under your armpit.
  9. Your other hand supports this movement by pulling at the hip belt.
  10. Bend forward and move your baby under your armpit and onto your back.
  11. While still holding your baby with one hand, get the first shoulder strap with the other hand and put it on.
  12. Change hands – and put on the other shoulder strap.
  13. Fasten the breast belt.
  14. Tighten the shoulder straps by pulling on the short webbings, until the buckles are located BEHIND the safety loops.
