About Us

At Tinoki we are committed to helping Australian parents (and caregivers) carry their babies comfortably and safely. To that end we have imported products from Europe and America that we believe are the best of what is available anywhere. All of our carriers meet our strict critera. They are comfortable, usable with children well into the toddler – and even the preschool – years, and position the baby in an optimum position.

Our Passion for babywearing began after the birth of K in 2008. When wearing him in the stretchy wrap became uncomfortable we ventured online and discovered that there was a whole world of options available. We went quickly to something sensible, then something pretty, and then another. We received a lot of interest from people and soon started thinking about ways to make babywearing options more widely available. And so Tinoki was born.

The name means “my baby” in hebrew, which seemed apt as this business is our baby, and is also about providing parents with tools to enjoy their own babies more.

We believe that wearing babies is convenient, but it should also be comfortable, attractive and easy. Hopefully, that is exactly what we are able to provide.
